Questions about the glasses

Frequently asked questions

Camera, lenses, controls, battery and delivery – quick answers.

Ask a question
Can people tell the glasses have a camera?

On a second look, yes: the lens sits at the front right of the frame, and at the front left there's a small light that glows while you're filming. Only film other people with their consent – and never in changing rooms, government offices or movie theaters.

How good are the photos and videos?

The camera has 8 megapixels and records video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. In daylight, shots come out clear; indoors and at dusk they tend to look grainy. It won't replace a good phone camera – but your hands stay free while you film.

How do the self-tinting lenses work?

The fitted lenses react to UV light: they darken in the sun and gradually turn clear again indoors. How dark they get depends on the sunlight. Behind a car windshield they usually barely tint, because the windshield blocks UV light. For very bright days, the brown and gray spare lenses are included.

How do I swap the lenses?

Carefully push the fitted lens out of the frame. Place the new lens into the groove of the frame at the marked spot and press gently until it sits snugly all the way around – no tools needed. The instructions show the steps with pictures.

How do I use them?

Front button (red) on the right temple: press once for a photo, twice for a video, and once more to stop. Hold for 2 seconds to turn the glasses on, 5 seconds to turn them off. Press once to answer a call. Rear button: once for the AI assistant, twice for image recognition, hold for a voice memo. Touch panel: swipe forward or back to adjust the volume, double-tap to play or pause music, touch and hold for the next track.

What can the AI assistant do?

Press the rear button and ask your question – you'll hear the answer through the speakers in the temples. Pressing twice starts image recognition: the glasses take a photo and describe what's in front of you. For this, the glasses need a connection to the app on your phone and internet access.

How does translation work?

In the app, choose the two languages and start the translation. For video calls with translation, send the other person a link from the app. Your phone needs an internet connection for this.

How do photos and videos get onto my phone?

Via Wi-Fi, straight into the app: there you'll find all your photos, videos and voice memos and can save them to your phone's gallery – automatically, if you like. If the battery drops below 20%, the transfer pauses until the glasses are charged again.

How long does the battery last?

The battery has 290 mAh. How long it lasts depends on what you do: filming and transferring use a lot of power, music and calls much less. It charges magnetically via the included cable and is full in about 2 hours. There's no charging case.

Will they fit me?

The frame is 148.5 mm wide at the front, the temples are 159 mm long, the lenses measure 50 × 39.3 mm and the bridge is 22 mm. That makes them a larger fit – many glasses are between 130 and 145 mm wide. The easiest way to compare is to hold your own glasses against a ruler.

Are they available with prescription lenses?

Not from us. Many opticians can fit prescription lenses into frames like these – it's best to ask your optician beforehand whether they'll work on this frame.

Are they waterproof?

No. Don't wear them in the rain, while washing your hands, swimming or taking hot showers, or in the sauna.

Do I need an account?

Yes, you create an account once for the app. The app is available for iOS and Android – you'll find the download via the QR code in the instructions.

When will they arrive?

Shipping is free. Your glasses usually arrive within 7–14 business days, and you'll get a tracking number by email.

I was honestly surprised how good these glasses are. They look like normal sunglasses, but the built-in camera takes clear, sharp pictures – especially for quick photos and short videos. The sound for calls and music is solid, and the Bluetooth connection has no lag. They fit well and feel sturdy.

Bluetooth connects quickly, and I can take calls and listen to music without earbuds. And I can still hear what's going on around me.

Great product, fast shipping, very happy with the purchase. I still need to check how everything works, but it looks good.

I like how natural the recordings look outdoors. The camera handles light well, and the pictures are clear. The AI assistant, translation and Bluetooth calls make the glasses really practical in everyday life.
